Remember my article on cougars shopping for lingerie so that they could use it to seduce much younger men. Like middle aged men who can blame their adultery on hormones, it turns out that mature women have a scientific reason to hunt for men who are young enough to be their sons.
Psychologist David Buss has concluded that evolution is at work and that women in their 30s and early 40s are significantly more sexual than younger women. These ladies not only have more fantasies (that would make even men turn red faced) they are also having more sex, including flings and casual hookups.
In my numerous discussions with such women I have found that as women get older, they become more accepting of their bodies and set themselves free by not listening to their parents or pastors who typically have more influence on girls than boys. That is when they realize that they have as much right to please themselves as men.

One of the issues that may allow older women to maintain their sex lives is that they are lucky enough to still maintain correct hormonal balance.
This is especially true of their sex hormones (estrogen, progesterone and testosterone). If any of these hormone decrease significantly, as they normally do as women age, then there is a very high chance that their libido’s will suffer.
