How does Kelly Bensimon diet?

While Kelly Bensimon (model and desperate housewife of New York) may not have that pretty face (am I the only one who thinks that her face is a little weird?) that I like on women, but she sure has an awesome body.  Obviously, unless you are God’s favorite girl, chances are that if you look awesome, you work hard at it.  And so does Kelly, who follows a very unorthodox diet plan (I even consider it an eating disorder that may result in anorexia) that calls for six days of fasting and then feasting (experts call it binge eating) on the seventh day.  As Biblical as it may sound (I thought the Jerusalem Diet made far more sense), it may not be the healthiest way to lose weight or stay slim.

In any case, for Kelly, that means while she is fasting (there is a lot of data that shows that occasional fasting maybe good for the body) she will merely have OJ and coffee (with soy milk) for breakfast.  For lunch, she will simply have tofu for protein and then some brown rice and veggiesDinner is generally a piece of white meat and salad with a beverage.  Obviously, this is not true fasting; it is more like eating a very low calorie diet (700).  On the 7th day, you can literally pig out.  Here is a video in which she explains her diet.
