Pregnancy after 40 is generally not recommended because not only is getting pregnant difficult (there is a huge emotional cost to trying and not conceiving), the chance of a miscarriage is higher and if the baby is ultimately delivered (often prematurely), it might have birth defects (look what happened to Sarah Palin’s son Trig who has Down Syndrome because she was in her mid 40s when she got pregnant).

An exception is using donor eggs but then the child is only partly yours.  It is not clear if Monica Bellucci used donor eggs but it seems suspicious that she got pregnant naturally at her age (45 at the time of conceiving).  She must have definitely had an IVF.   The good news is that the baby is here and she is already drawing attention from men.
