Summary

Some girls are shy, others are reserved in expressing their feelings, while some simply are not interested in a romantic relationship.  As you will read below, if you are a man dating one of these women types, it is important to figure this out early on so that you can decide if you even want a relationship with them.

George met a girl online and they started chatting regularly.  He says that after they started to spend a lot of time chatting and flirting on the Internet, he started to develop feelings for her and felt that he could even have a relationship with her.  They even went out on a couple of dates that seemed to go well, but it looks that she never really became warm towards him, even though she was always ready to hang out with him and never said no when asked.  He adds, “I always call or text her.  I remind her about my feelings for each other and I think I try to tell her that I love you so you have to love me!  I have also tried to help her with issues like poor self esteem and self-loathing.  Nothing seems to work though and we are still like two strangers who happen to spend a lot of time together.  What should I do?”

Some women are simply incapable of romance

If you are the one always contacting her, it appears that you are forcing yourself on her and she is too polite to tell you to stop.  Since you tell her what to do and she is sweet enough not to decline she may still resent it because most women do not like to be pushed around.

It seems that she belongs to a group of women who like self self flagellation.  These are girls with low self esteem.  They feel good beating themselves up even if the fault lies with others or the environment.  I know people who will blame themselves up even if it was the weather over which they had no control.

You can never force anyone to love.  It does not matter how much you love someone, that person may not love you at all.  And if love does happen it is called pity-love and does not last for too long.  I would say that at this point the time to make the big decision has come.  You have to directly ask her if she wants a romantic relationship with you or not and if she says a clear No or avoids giving a direct answer, you will have better luck hitting on other girls who will admire your persistence and dedication.
