Drew writes, “My guy is 19 years my junior, me being 62 years old.  While he is in the United States, I am in Great Britain, and we have met only online yet just by chance.  He has no idea of my age; he has not asked and I have not said!  Just recently I asked his mum’s age and he replied she is 67 years.  This is so bothering me.  I really don’t know what log to crawl under. I would pass for no older than 43 maximum but I know I am going to have to tell him sooner than later that his mom and myself would be great friends.  We are in love with each other but, like Cher said, if I could turn back time. Fewer men care about age

You have done nothing wrong because he never asked you and a woman should never volunteer her age.  In any case your relationship is based on mutual affection for each other and most likely age is not an issue either.  He likes you for who you are and how you look.  I know a lot of 43 year olds that look like they are grandmas and I also know a lot of women like you who take good care of themselves, look great in every single sense of the word, dress modern and stylish, and can exhaust a 19 year old in bed.

So just relax.  There is still no reason to tell your age to him or to his mother.  Chances are that he already knows and doesn’t care.
