How did Anthony Hopkins lose weight?

While a lot of men at his age do not even bother, Anthony Hopkins realized that it is never too late to start eating right and becoming healthier.  Indeed, as we get older, it becomes more difficult to lose weight, but ultimately the basic rules of science work.  When you reduce your calorie consumption and burn more through physical activity, you will see results at any age, though they are not linear.

Sir Hopkins has been able to lose about 75 pounds in two years by essentially eliminating white flour from his diet.  He has also gone six days a week to the gym (personal trainers believe that the body should rest one day to recover from the workouts).  He is essentially consuming a meager 800 calories a day by definitely eliminating pasta and other fattening foods.
