In Redbook magazine, model and host of Top Chef has some comforting words for moms.  She tells them to be patient, a piece of advice that is applicable to anyone trying to lose weight.  The body resists weight loss and if you give up, the body will win, but if you keep trying and never give up, eventually you will get the body that you want, and maybe will need just some help from procedures like Zeltiq.


What Padma Lakshmi is saying is that “You’re not going to lose 20 to 30 pounds in a month, nor should you. You can still feel feminine and beautiful and strong whether you’re a size 12 or a size 2.”

And while you do not have to follow her exercise regimen (remember that she is a model and celebrity and even an extra pound of weight can make her look fat on TV), but just so as you know, she engages in weightlifting and is known to climb flights of stairs for hours.
