Is there anything wrong about falling in love when in a relationship?

Picture of a romantic woman not shy to announce her love for her BFSummary:  Anita, a 30 year old in a relationship, has her eyes on another man and has been secretly spending a lot of time with him.  She asks, “Isn’t love beautiful?  I am not happy in my current relationship but haven’t broken up.  Is there anything immoral about looking for a new one?”

To me falling in love is never disgusting, even if you are married, because even when I am full, a great piece of dessert can be tempting.  Similarly, looking for new work while having a great job is all about making life better.  Obviously, we cannot just walk away from existing relationships, especially when the other partner is awesome (and the way there are costs to having a dessert on full stomach or switching jobs, there are costs associated with leaving a marriage and family), but when relationships are dysfunctional, leaving them is not only good for us, but also for the other partner, because we now free them up to find someone that they can find happiness with.

The reality is that if I am unhappy in my marriage, there is no way that my partner can be perfectly happy.  That is why it makes perfect sense to move on when one partner is miserable.
