I have already shared my thoughts on why it is entirely inappropriate for women and couples to beg strangers and family members for IVF. While begging is unacceptable in almost all cases, we can look kindly on people in absolutely desperate circumstances who cannot feed themselves or have a need for a medicine. There is absolutely no reason why one should be allowed to beg for luxuries. I opposed begging for fertility treatments on the ground that if you did not get pregnant naturally, maybe you should just accept it the way you accept that you are not Angelina Jolie or an astronaut. Similarly, if you are a flat chested girl, unless you have the funds to pay for a breast augmentation surgery, it is fine to stick to your padded bras.

That is why this Akron, Ohio woman is simply embarrassing herself and setting a bad example by begging for her cosmetic surgery. Right now she is able to get some handouts because men may simply think it is funny or want to help her have a nice day, but imagine if hundreds of women and men will line up on the streets of my town asking for money to pay for whatever luxury they want.

If you want something that is clearly a luxury, the best thing to do is to save money for it. Even if you save a few dollars a day, it is amazing how the numbers add up. In a matter of years she will have enough funds to pay for it, though, she may want to know that plastic surgery has a shelf life and in about ten years time she will need to go under the knife again to replace the silicone implants and she will need money yet again.
