We can yet another name to the growing list of Hollywood celebrities who do not believe in marriage. The argument is that if one can enjoy all the joys of marriage that used to be reserved exclusively for couples in a marriage can now be had even without a short term commitment, why would anyone create all the legal drama if one were to divorce. After all you can now live together, have babies, own property together, and of course, have all the sex you can without ever tying the knot only the losers will actually fool themselves into believing that somehow they will find greater happiness after marriage.
Mila Kunis says that, “I would love to find the one. But I’m not sure about marriage. I see no need. I’ll be with somebody because I want to, not because a piece of paper tells me I have to. That said, if the love of my life thinks it’s important, then fine, I’ll get married.”
Sounds so similar to what Meursault told his girlfriend Marie Cardona about marriage in The Stranger when she wanted to know if they could get married.
