We all dream
of being with someone perfect (for us) but the reality is
that the way a
soulmate
is only a concept, so is a
perfect partner. While some of us may get really
lucky and find that we have the
perfect partner, most of us can only hope for someone
who is as good as s/he can be for us. If you are
that realistic, chances are that you will be more grounded
in reality, will be willing to do the hard work that a
relationship requires, and cherish what you get in the
process.
So who is a perfect partner for you?

 That is the
most important question that you can answer. While
someone like me can help you arrive at an answer, only you
will know who is good for you. For instance, many of
us like to believe that someone who is
financially stable is good, but I know dozens of my
friends who don't care about money. They would
rather enjoy being with someone who is funny or kind or
adventurous or an artist. We all have our
ideas
about life. And that is why finding the
perfect partner for you is as much about finding
the other person as finding you. You will
have to
look deep inside you to understand who you are and
who else will fulfill you as a person. |
How to go about
tracking down your perfect man or woman?
Be patient. It will
take time.
Be clear. Write down what you want
and be direct and open to others about what you

Be flexible. If you
think that you will find that exact person, you
won't. However, if you are willing to
compromise on some things, you will succeed.
After all, you can't spend your whole life
searching.
Be willing to work on it.
Mind you, the other person may not find you
perfect. In other words, both of you will
need to work on your relationship to become
perfect for each other.
