Have you met
people who drive a
Porsche and wear
Armani or
Chanel but
apply butter on their bread with their steak knife?
Or shout at wait-staff. Or do not know how to treat
women and elderly with respect. My first piece of
advice to you is that you better fix this; otherwise,
others might refuse to
have a relationship with you of any
kind.
So what is
class? Why do some people have it and others don't.
Well, being from a rich family helps but it doesn't
guarantee class. People who come from rich families
are more likely to have elders with class who pass on
their values to them, send them to right schools, and if
needed, even pack them off to a
finishing school. It
does not mean that you have to be
Paris Hilton to have
class. It is all about learning the best way you can
- sometimes simply by watching the right television
program or borrowing a book from your library.

What can you do
to be classy?
Get
your manners straight. And I am not
referring to just table manners. It is
important to have good manners all the time.
Be
polite. Classy people treat everyone with
respect (even who are not as fortunate as them),
not just their friends and family members.
Apologize
when you make a mistake. Only those who have
the
self confidence in their class also have the
courtesy to admit their mistakes and apologize.
Learn
as you go. No one is born perfect so learn
from each opportunity. And get professional
help when needed.
