We
have been discussing the true purpose of life and the role
that friendships can play in defining our lives.
In the first part we focused on the value of finding a
purpose. In the second part, we discussed how important
it is for women to realize that they have to value their
lives, find their own purpose, rather than be guided by
someone else. In this context we discussed the value of
friendship. We are now going to discuss why you should stay away
from depression and continue to fight your way through life.
Life is full of ups and downs but there is no impossible situation. When you go through a rough patch it should build your character and give you a sense of maturity and wisdom so that one day you will lift someone else up. When you go through a heartbreaking time just remember there are others going through a worse situation than yours or a similar one. You are not alone. It’s not the time to give up on living but a time to have another look at yourself. The last thing you want to do is to go into a depression. How common is depression? Very common. But do you want to add to this statistic by becoming depressed? No, never, there is help out there and you must seek it.

Learn from your mistakes and keep going. Life is too precious to be given up so easily. Be a fighter. You have purpose, you are beautiful both inside and outside and there is always someone who cares out there. Look for help when you can’t deal with it alone. Remember not everybody is a monster. Don’t allow a doctor’s report to take you to an early grave no matter what the diagnosis. Let faith, hope and love sustain you. Get to know and meet people that have overcome such obstacles and learn from them. A cheerful heart is good medicine for the soul. Don’t allow your 19 year old boyfriend make you
commit suicide after he dumps you for another girl when you are only 15 years old. Girl there is so much to live for.

Depression is time consuming. It robs you of your joy, your hopes and dreams and finally it kills you. Don’t commit suicide either. Wait for your time to come. Depression and suicide tell you that there is nothing more to live for. Don’t listen to those voices nor entertain those thoughts. Never devalue life, live it up to the end. Don’t worry and go into depression. It’s not worth it. You can pick up the pieces and move on. Close the chapter. Don’t ever allow another human being to drive you to an early grave.
