The opinion on who should follow a detox diet are divided. Some practitioners, and this may include trainers, nutritionists, alternative medicine practitioners and some doctors, recommend them to people trying to lose weight or improve overall physical performance. These are short-term diets so there are not major risks. However, some people may experience fatigue or headaches but the symptoms generally go away pretty quickly.
