| How can I get my body back?
I have ignored it for years but now is the time

reading this, you are probably a woman who has done so
much for your family that you have forgotten about
yourself. However, it is never too late to get
started with a diet and exercise program to lose weight,
build muscles, dress better, and become a stylish,
confident woman again. |

First of
all, you have to realize that you have to
compartmentalize your life. For instance, a lot of
people skip on their
daily workout because they say that they are too
busy. To me that is just BS and an
excuse not to do
what they don't like. Trust me, even 10-20 minutes
daily can have a huge impact on our
fitness,
and while it might be a valid excuse for
senators or
CEOs, but not for the rest of us. We all can
find that time
to workout by
watching less TV or
talking less on the phone or just getting up early.
Personally, I like to do it first thing in the morning
to get it out of my way. Now a lot of people complain
that they have no time or money to
go to the gym, but who said that you need to
go to the gym to workout; you can
build your body at home. Only the gym owner who want
you to buy their memberships. While I saved money to buy
a treadmill 12 years ago and it makes it
easy to workout even in the middle of
South
Dakota winter, I still
jump rope and lift weights (you can buy them used or
new ones for less than $100 or I am not kidding, just
bring some bricks home from Home Depot for a few bucks).
In other words, one can
burn a lot of calories without spending a dollar on
hardware or equipment.
The second thing to do is to
make
dietary changes. Obviously, that means
skipping high calorie foods and substituting them
with
low-calorie choices. I also do not try to
eat anything processed (the best thing is to simply
not buy them rather than resisting them while at home).
I also
drink water instead of any
beverages and
drink only a glass of wine with my dinner.
The third thing to do is to
make lifestyle changes. For example, I have meal
times and I eat only then: wholesome
breakfast of organic, steel-cut oatmeal, lunch,
afternoon
snack of fruit and raw cashes, and dinner at 6 PM. I
am already
quite skinny but when I was trying to
lose
weight, I
brushed my teeth after dinner and did not eat
anything after
dinner, but now when I do feel like munching
something, I will eat one prune or two grapes or a
tablespoon of yogurt (you will be amazed how easily you
can satisfy yourself in the evening). |

Fourthly, I do not believe that one has
to shop
for new clothes only when you get that
perfect body back. Since there are so many sales right
now, I want you to go and
buy some new clothes that you want to wear. You will be
amazed how
putting on stylish clothes and
makeup
can make you feel good about yourself. I have also found
from many of my readers that
wearing
beautiful underwear makes them feel really good about
themselves.
Finally, with all the troubles in your life, make sure that
you find time to
go out with family and friends. It is important to
socialize and
stay in touch with people who you love. |
