facelift” and one that deserves meticulous consideration. “We have all gotten very good at focusing on the jowls, neck, cheeks, eyes and
brow of the
aging face as part of
a facelift
procedure,” he notes, “but we often overlook the most critical aspect of the face -- the mouth and lips."

While procedures such as the facelift are effective in combating the obvious
sagging and wrinkles associated with the aging process, they do little to specifically improve the appearance of the mouth. Dr. Bloch incorporates multiple procedures in the effort to correct the signs of aging specific to the mouth and lips. (Related:

This procedure is often combined with an anguloplasty to lift the corners of the mouth in order to correct the marionette lines that often advertise age on the face. Wrinkles and volume loss can also be addressed with multiple approaches from
injectable
fillers, to fat
injections, laser
resurfacing treatment, and
chemical
peels, often done in combination.
