lose weight.
I do workout five days a week, I guess I would say all
things considered I'm rather
athletic. I have
tried talking to my family physician and she seems to
think that my only option is a
breast reduction because
they are too big. I don't like the idea but it is
getting increasingly harder to do the kind of activities
I enjoy. However,
insurance won't cover the surgery
because I'm too young...which I don't understand at all.
If it is difficult for me to run, no matter how much I
support them they bounce too much. What exercises would
you suggest?" Exercises
that are simple, easy, and give results
I am very impressed that you are working out 5 times a
week. I encourage you to
hire a personal trainer for a
few sessions but without knowing exactly what you are
doing, I suggest that you workout at least an hour a day
and that must include about 30 minutes of cardio and
then some combination of
strength training. My wife also
likes other simple exercises like
jumping a rope or the
hula hoop. She also enjoys
dancing, particularly
bellydancing.
Diet that speeds up weight loss
In addition to
working out, you really need to
take
another look at your diet. By making small changes, like
replacing all
beverages with
tap water, avoiding all
forms of sweets except those that come from when you eat
fruits, avoiding going out altogether,
making all meals
from scratch at home using healthy,
organic ingredients,
and replacing meats with vegetables and beans will make
a huge difference in your weight.
How I lost weight?
And trust me, you can do it because I have. For the
record, I am 5' 8" and weigh just 127 lbs and while I
was never
overweight, I did weigh 140 at my highest but
I realized that if I needed to be disease-free all my
life, I needed to weigh towards the low end of my
BMI
range and that is where I am. I accomplished this by
working out about 75 minutes, five times a week and
following the diet that I mentioned above; sometimes it
may also be referred to as the
Mediterranean diet. Since
I
work on a PC all day, I still try to be active by
always being on the move (like walking to a colleague's
desk rather than calling or going up and down the stairs
whenever possible).
You are not the only one who will have a hard time
convincing
insurance company to pay for breast reduction
and I wouldn't be surprised that at your weight they
will still argue that you are overweight. I wouldn't be
surprised that even when you
become older, they will
still try to deny it if you are overweight; so your best
option is still to
lose the weight. |
