Just as
masks for the oily
skin, the objective here too is to deep clean and purify the skin to prevent pimples. The ingredients in these masks try to dry the skin and exfoliate to eliminate any impurity that may obstruct the pores and cause a pimple or blackhead.

The most used ingredients in the masks for skin with acne are salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide. They also have calming ingredients that fight inflammation.
There are, however, restrictions on acne
treatments for pregnant women.
 French green clay. You may add essential oils of tea tree or neem to kill bacteria or chamomile to combat inflammation.
Take one spoon of French clay and make a paste with few drops of water. The consistency has to be such that it can stick to your skin. It is a good mask for very oily skin.
Green clay with Aloe Vera. Mix one spoonful each of Aloe Vera and clay and add a few drops of
lemon or lime
juice. Apply on clean skin and leave it for 5 to 10 minutes. Wash it off with warm water. Avoid going out in the sun for about 2 hours after applying this mask. (Related:

Some masks for acne-prone skin can be very drying to the skin. This is not necessary; the skin needs both anti-inflammatory treatments and purifying treatments. If the mask irritates the skin, it may not be the best choice for you. (Related:
