Percentage of women using thongs
You learn interesting things on the Power of 10 program. For 12% of American women now wear a thong on a regular basis and our research shows that women that have thongs in their lingerie chest is much higher, closer to 30%.
So why are thongs so popular?
First, they are sexy. Not only feel that way when they wear them, men too find that a woman in a thong is sexier.
Secondly, they are one of the best ways to fight visible panty lines (VPL).
Thirdly, while whale tail (letting your underwear show above your pants) maybe considered by some as a fashion statement, many people are offended by them. So if you are wearing low rise jeans, low rise thongs are a great way to keep whaletail away (check out these yoga pants that do not show your panties), though there are ultra low rise jeans now that are designed to how whaletail.
