My best friend’s wife likes me
Todd, a married man, is facing a dilemma that all married men face from time to time. He and his wife are friends with another couple, Maggie and Aaron. “Whether her husband or my wife is around, Maggie will touch me, feel me, hug me, and kiss me on my lips when we greet or see each other. When I’m by myself she’ll come to me and start talking to me. She always checks me out and has said that I am hot, and one time I don’t know if she was joking because there were other people around, she said she has hots for me. I am a bit confused why this woman is like that. I told her the other day that my wife is a bit jealous and after that she has mellowed a bit. I don’t know what to do. I mean don’t get me wrong; I like her too, I think she looks good too and if I can get a chance, should I take any advantage of this situation? Please help.”
Obviously, it is a delicate situation since she is so close to you. Any little mistake on any one’s part and it could spell disaster for both of you. That is why you need to be extremely careful and also never overdo it. Plus, be very discreet.
- First of there are people that are by nature warm, too friendly, and very physical, depending on where they come from. For instance, many Brazilians can be just too warm and physical and that may shock some of us here in New England, for instance.
- Secondly, many women love to flirt, and since they are women, they can often get away with it. A guy will get into a lot of trouble for something less than that.
- A third possibility is that she simply wants to have an extramarital relationship with you.
- Finally, just a remote possibility, they might be a swinging couple or have other crazy ideas about you, and she may be doing all this with full consent of her husband to find out if you are interested.
My suggestion would that the next time you are alone together and she makes a move, just go with the flow. Do not resist but do not lead either. Let her be in the driver’s seat. That way you will be able to get what you both seem to want.
