One of the rules that I try to follow while on vacation is to try to eat as much local food as possible. I mean would you really eat Italian food in China? That is why while vacationing in Paris I tried to eat (almost always) French food but there are times when you just want a different flavor. On the fourth day of my trip that is what happened to me and that is when I discovered the Jipangu Japanese restaurant at 96 Rue La Boetie. It is a barbecue place, and while the restaurant has a strong French feel to it, if you are looking for a different flavor, this is the place to go.
