Should I wear an underwire bra?

Snap of a lady in a lace brasserieSelena from Manila in The Philippines writes, “I have heard that underwire bras cause cancer and I do not like the feeling of a wire under my bust. That is why I tend to wear soft bras but my friends tell me that my breasts will sag if I do not wear a bra with strong support. Is she right?”

I agree with your friend about the soft bra. During day time when you are standing or sitting the force of gravity is the strongest. That is when you need the most support — a bra with underwire support does exactly that. I know how you feel about the soft bra — after all we want to be comfortable; isn’t it. But you will regret your choice at later time when you will be worrying about a breast lift.

As you can see in the photo on this page, this girl is wearing a very pretty lace bra but you can clearly see how there is simply no support.

All my clients are currently using support bras and I am including the photos of Victoria’s Secret bras that they are buying. They have underwire support but if you touch them they are very soft and you feel as if you are wearing nothing.
