Longest nails that I have ever seen
Yesterday, I met this Chinese-American woman (she refused to give me her full name) in her late forties at a public event and she had the longest nails that I have ever seen (as is obvious from the photo above). She kept her nails nicely manicured and there was no way anyone could fail to notice her hands.
Luckily I had my digital camera with me and I immediately asked if I could photograph her. Since she was rather shy, she reluctantly agreed to let me photograph just her hands. Unfortunately, I did not have a measuring tape with me, but I guessed that the nails are about two inches long.
When I asked her when was the last time she cut her nails? “28 years ago,” she said. I am sure nail salons charge her 10X of what I pay for her manicure; she refused to disclose where she got her manicure.
