I think the key to success in communicating with your partner is honesty. Because if you are not honest you are not telling your partner what you really feel. Therefore, if you are saying things just to please him, you are doing so by hurting yourself. In any case, in the end, all lies are found and no one is a winner. I realize that it is painful to tell and hear the truth but as far as a couple in love is concerned that is the only way to have a solid relationship over time.
