Should I leave my older boyfriend for younger man?
Norah writes, “I am currently in a relationship with a man who is 10 years older than me; however, sometimes it feels like we are roommates as opposed to a romantic couple in a sweet, passionate, committed relationship. Recently I met a guy 10 years younger than I am who makes me feel good about myself, he is young and vibrant. He is everything that I ever asked for in a man. I am torn between what I have and what I want. I find myself thinking if going with the younger guy would be a good idea…..he is so young! What should I do? Which guy should I choose?”
My principle is that it is better to be single than to be in a miserable relationship. With this older man, you really don’t have much of a relationship and it gives you no happiness. You could find this platonic friend any day with no effort.
This younger guy, on the contrary, gives you what a relationship should. I strongly suggest that you pick the younger man and pay no attention to his age but to everything else he offers you. A lot of women have perfectly normal relationships with younger guys.
