How to spice up my sex life?
Amy writes, “My partner and I are getting married in 6 months and I want to know how to spice up our sex life. Right now we only really get to spend time with each other on the weekends. I want to really please him. Based on what we have tried so far, he is not so adventurous in bed. Apart from oral and missionary, what else is there that I can do for him? He is the love of my life.”
Congratulations on your marriage plans. I am also happy to hear that you found the love of your life and want to make him happy.
Regarding what kind of sex will please a man, the best answer can come only from him. So the first thing that you can do is to simply ask him. What if he is shy or reluctant to tell you? Then, the trick is to just go ahead and do what you like and want. For instance, if you want to have sex in the kitchen, then plan it that way. If you are making breakfast in just your undies, or nothing but an apron (an ultimate fantasy of any man) and then call him to have breakfast on a Sunday morning, I think he will know that there is more to have for breakfast than just organic oatmeal.
Now if he is shy or simply not interested in anything more than the usual, then, you will know because he will eat his oatmeal and go on with his day. Do not get disappointed, though. You will just need to try to discover what he really wants because each man is different. I have heard from men who get turned on by women wearing silk scarves, or eyeglasses, or high heels, or with hairy armpits or dressed like a hot attorney. The list is endless.
Another point to not get discouraged is that spicy sex may not be on the mind of each man but when the woman tries, he might get into it. All of us have discovered new things that way. You have never even thought of Nshima until a friend invites you to eat there with her and then you get hooked. So maybe there will be things that he will really like after you try.
