I have been tracking the braless trend and it makes a lot of sense if you have perky breasts. I have seen the trend in many forms, but generally it means that you just don't wear a bra and let it all hang out. That does not mean that it is all great. For instance, Lindsay Lohan or Anneliese Louis van der Pol or Rumer Willis were disasters.

On the other hand, Britney Spears or Lilly Allen or Eva Mendes were awesome dressing without a bra.

Now Blake Lively takes it one step farther by even abandoning the shirt and simply wearing a jacket. Hmmm...sounds like a great way to save money.

I have been closely following the trend to show the bra through the blouse. I have seen people doing it in several different ways.

Wear a see through top or dress or shirt

I have seen Katie Holmes, Amy Smart, Hilary Duff, Leele Sobieski, and Heather Graham.

Bra is not fully covered by the dress

Rachel Stevens, Britney Spears, Brooke Hogan, and Susan Atwell.

Bra peeking at the top of the dress

Miranda Kerr, Nadia Bjorlin, Mena Suvari, and Miley Cyrus.

Now we have Zoe Saldana and Chloe Sevigny doing exactly that by wearing dresses that are totally open in the front to flash their bras.

I have traditionally associated brooches with older women or clowns like Sarah Palin but I am about to change my opinion seeing Jessica Biel and Christina Ricci decorate one of their shoulders with jewelry. Definitely cute!

When teenager Rumer Willis went braless it was a disgusting sight (due to her being fat the breasts are already sagging). When a still young Lindsay Lohan is braless it ain't a pretty sight either (alcohol and drugs ages you faster). When Drew Barrymore appeared braless it was awful because at that time she had not her breasts reduced and had very large breasts. I basically like to see women like Kristen Davis braless.

These examples go on to prove that going braless is not for everyone. Dressing without a bra means that you should have perky breasts and hopefully have small breasts. Otherwise, a braless look makes you look ugly. And you should avoid wearing tanktops with which bras are unpractical because letting your bra show is not great either. Obviously, going to work braless is not recommended either.

Finally, let me get back to Eva Mendes, who shows for whom the no-bra look is fine. She is 35 years old but as she makes sure that you can look through the unbuttoned shirt, she still maintains a very perky chest, through diet and exercise. And I love that white crisp shirt.

I think there are times that a woman should wear a veil and Drew Barrymore showed how to do it right. Was Lady Gaga simply trying to mask her face from the fans or was she really trying to make a fashion statement? If it is the second case, she failed miserably and looks hideous. It seems that she covered her face with lace sheer stockings.
