Remember how Ashlee Simpson was lyp-synching on Saturday Night Live? So I am little surprised that people are shocked about her sneaky approach to plastic surgery.

In an interview with Marie Claire magazine, she talked about building self esteem and body image, and said, "Everyone is made differently, and that's what makes us beautiful and unique. I want girls to look in the mirror and feel confident." Hey, that is how your PR consultant teaches you to speak in interviews - that's what sells CDs. Isn't how our politicians talk too - talk about helping the poor, do good, and work for the people (in reality they work for lobbyists).

Even before the magazine took to the stands, Ashlee Simpson got a nose job, and to further improve her looks, she even got hair extensions. Hey, she never said that you should not have plastic surgery before looking in the mirror and feeling confident.

So I don't blame Ashlee; I blame all those who believe everything that celebrities say.
