I have always admired Penelope Cruz (or Penny, as she is called by people close to her) for her acting though I must admit that her charm and beauty add to my attraction for her. On the red carpet, it was nice to see her in an outfit that was impossible to miss. The tea-rose Versace dress with a train was perfect for someone who was very likely to win the best actress award for her role in "Volver," a remarkable film by world-famous director Pedro Almodovar.

This was no ordinary dress since the bodice had find and delicate work done and the full skirt with its tiered ruffles on the train made Penelope Cruz the queen of the red carpet that night. To some extent it reminded me fo the Christian Dior dress that Charlize Theron wore once.
