Heather Schmid, a celebrity that I have profiled here twice, is now joining forces with Harvard faculty member Rafay Mehdi to launch Goddess Inc. which will focus on music, fashion, co-branding, and charity.

Goddess Inc. began by exporting the best of America: pop/rock music, fashion, charity, live shows, and the brand "Bring out your inner Goddess." Co-Branding deals with credit card companies, skin care and fashion lines helped to fund live shows in un-tapped international markets. Charity donations and sincere interest in humanitarianism went further to leave lasting impressions with the local people of China, India, and Pakistan.

Goddess Inc. has inadvertently been a part of transforming some of the image problems the United States has recently been experiencing with its hard-line political stances internationally. Some of the headlines from performances and interviews have been: "Heather Schmid is a ambassador of peace" (Daily Times-Pakistan) and 'Goodness from a Goddess" (Shanghai Talk).
