While Liv Tyler has definitely decided to have cosmetic surgery, that is not what Ellen Barkin plans to do. She looks at plastic surgery rather philosophically, as if women and men who go under the knife somehow lose their identity.
In an interview with First, she says that people who get help from a plastic surgeon are announcing to the world that they refuse to accept the reality of life and they will fight it. I thought that is the point.
But looks like she is not against all surgeries. For instance, she appears to be fine with dermal fillers and other such minimally invasive procedures, but there is an exception: Botox. I guess because Botox makes your facial expressions go away.
When I first saw Liv Tyler in "Lord of the Rings," I couldn't take my eyes off her. She looked angelic and most people agree, but pregnancy and aging can do enormous damage to a woman's body. Indeed, you can workout all you want, try yoga, and diet, but human body has limitations. That is where a mommy makeover comes in.
In this makeover which may include several cosmetic surgery procedures depending on the person, a plastic surgeon can try to undo the damage to the tummy and breasts. Many women may also choose to undergo procedures like vaginoplasty and/or labiaplasty to make their privates attractive again.
In an interview, Liv Tyler says that she is definitely going to have plastic surgery because of all the body changes that she has seen after childbirth and breastfeeding.
I guess I will find her beautiful for a long time.

"Being Michael Madsen" is an unusual movie since it mocks Hollywood but in a way that makes you think not just about the Hollywood celebrities but also about ourselves, our obsessions, and what we consider important in life. It is a documentary, sort of, and naturally, apart from Michael and his sister Virginia Madsen, there are other "stars" like Vicki Roberts (pictured above) and Daryl Hannah. BTW, Vicki is not an "actor" per se unless you count court appearances in real life as acting (I think so, though). She is an attorney, and of course, an expert on legal affairs involving the stars.

If you recall watching Rachael Leigh Cook in "She's All That" (1999) with Freddie Prinze Jr., you will love her in her new gig "Nancy Drew." For those of you who are not into detective books, she is a very clever character that can beat Alfred Hitchcock or Columbo any day with her investigative skills. She is also appearing in "Blonde Ambition" with Jessica Simpson. Now, if you want to hang out with her, you can: online. She will be on HABBO as a guest.

The hottest thing right now is "fusion," but naive that I was, I thought it only meant food, art, jewelry, but it also means women. Yeah, women like Cat Change. The Asian beauty, long known both for her songwriting and her modeling, has now discovered her place in the sun. Chang frames reality with the mystery of her Eastern heritage; her classic beauty with the storyline of success; sweet jasmine mixed with the strength and sinew of bamboo - reminds me of women like Caroline Leng, Ice Hashimoto, and Loletta. She recently performed in Atlanta and "We literally stopped traffic!" she says. You bet. I am glad that the traffic stopped because we don't want accidents on our roads.

I am sure as a Hollywood celebrity one can do something to make a difference. So kudos to American Idol contestant Frenchie Davis, whose live performance at a charity event to raise money for Operation Smile is praiseworthy. Accompanied by DJ Mike Palmieri and Sabrina Sloan plus new recording artist Stevie Jewel, such actions bring smiles to children and young adults. Keep up the good work Frenchie.
And taking a break from plastic surgery - just kidding - the host for the event is Janice Dickinson. The event will attract dozens of other celebs.
