If you are like me you are probably fascinated by diamond jewelry. For instance, by the diamond sautoir that Nicole Kidman wore at the Oscars or the 1928 Art Deco Diamond Necklace worn by Jennifer Garner or the diamond choker that Sophia Vergara put on at the Grammys or the diamond encrusted bra that Karolina Kurkova wore for Victoria's Secret.
Now listen to this one. Farouk Systems, a company that makes those famous CHI Irons, has actually made a million dollar iron (kinda reminds me of those million dollar Stuart Weitzman shoes that Diablo Cody refused to wear) and here are photos of the just a few of the Hollywood celebs that posed with it.

Do you recall when Issac Mizrahi literally grabbed Scarlett Johansson's breasts on live national television broadcasting the red carpet action at Oscars? Well, I don't blame him but it was as stupid a thing to do as to ask Jessica Alba if she planned to breastfeed her baby like Christina Aguilera -- as Ryan Seacrest did.
Now Natalie Portman, who stars together with Scarlett Johansson in the movie "The Other Boleyn Girl" is speaking out about the incident, "Seriously, I would want to grab them. She's got beautiful ones, but, Isaac, that was not so appropriate." Reminds me of how Norah Jones has a crush on Shakira or Eve has a crush on Angelina Jolie and Dita von Teese.

Diablo Cody (Brook Busey-Hunt, Brook Busey) is a rather unusual Oscar winner. She wrote a remarkable screenplay for "Juno" but when she was nominated for the Oscars, she did show her naughty side. First of all, she wore an animal print dress that was way too sheer and cut too high on the leg that she had to constantly watch herself to prevent a wardrobe malfunction on a day when most celebrities chose to wore rather boring dresses.
Million Dollar shoe controversy
Then there is the big controversy about wearing Stuart Weitzman shoes. Remember how Nicole Kidman wore that multimillion dollar diamond necklace? Or Karolina Kurkova wearing the Victoria's Secret Fantasy Bra. Well, it is no secret that designers showcase their work on various red carpets around the world and when a top designer offers to use you as a model, it is generally an honor. If you are Jennifer Garner or Anne Hathaway maybe you can sometimes be picky. It turns out that she tried what are being called as the million dollar shoes (see photo below -- they are shoes to die for) that were designed for her but never actually wore them, choosing what you can see are very simple flats. Later on when she found out that those were real diamonds, she complained that she does not want to promote designers and brands. I guess she was expecting to get paid.

Her behavior does not surprise me. While she did get a college degree in media studies, her career was going nowhere and she worked as an executive assistant at a law firm. That is when she started to work as a stripper and started her online show that eventually led to "Candy Girl: A Year in the Life of an Unlikely Stripper." Since she was a good writer, she eventually wrote in her bold, brutally honest style for The Village Voice and Jane magazine. I think she will raise a few eyebrows but eventually she will be accepted just fine in Hollywood -- it is the only place where you can be who you are if you have the talent.
But looks like she enjoyed her Oscar. She went to bed with it. This is a photo of her that she published on her blog.

I first saw Katherine Heigl in the movie Side Effects and she has come a long way from there but what has not changed is her friendly demeanor, down-to-earth attitude, and likability factor. On the Oscar red carpet this year, wearing the most popular red color (also worn by Ann Hathaway), she exhibited old Hollywood charm wearing an Escada gown that had a circle on her left shoulder.

If you were dazzled by Nicole Kidman's sautoir necklace on the Oscars red carpet, you cannot ignore the 61 carats Van Cleef & Arpels - 1928 Art Deco Diamond Necklace worn by Jennifer Garner. Obviously, it is not as extravagant as that of Nicole nor as expensive, but I thought it went very well with her black Oscar de la Renta gown. Her makeup and hairstyle was made to give her that dreamy eyes look and she did look very desirable.

Nicole Kidman is a beautiful woman and pregnancy has definitely enhanced her beauty but on the red carpet I could not take my eyes off her sautoir, which contained a total of 7,645 diamonds including rough, faceted, and polished stones, that total nearly 1,400 carats (estimated to cost millions of dollars).
The sautoir, which was designed by L'Wren Scott, produced and manufactured by Uni-Design Ltd. in Paris and India, uses a wide range of shapes and cuts of diamonds. Each diamond was individually selected by the designer to fit together into an overall design. The intricate design required in excess of 6,200 man hours to handcraft. Diamonds have never been used in such a truly unique way on the Red Carpet.

Anyone who saw Anne Hathaway in "The Devil Wears Prada" has to admit that not only is she a gorgeous girl, she can rock it in designer clothes. Unfortunately, last year was not her red carpet moment (Related: How to buy an evening dress). She looked awful in her black and white dress. This time she looked perfect in a red Marchesa gown, and as many of you might have noticed, red was the Oscar color this year. I also liked the detail on her shoulder -- those roses look awesome.

Bai Ling manages to always dress well. First of all she has the perfect body of a model -- skinny in all the right places. Two, she does a great job of borrowing from her Asian heritage and fusing it with Western style. I like this top that she wore on a New Year's Eve party because it looks so cool when she paired with skinny jeans. I have seen a top being sold that is ready-to-wear but I like the Belisi suggestion of actually taking a scarf and wrapping it around your chest to make it like a top.

One of the style trends popular among Hollywood celebs going on the red carpet is to wear a shoulders-off dress and leave the whole neck region totally bare. The idea is let your neck show. BS. Actually, I find that there is too much blank space and that can be a bit disorienting. I like what Sophia Vergara did: wear a choker. It doesn't have to be diamond-encrusted multi-million dollar piece of jewelry. You could wear something that is made of stone or even just wrap a scarf around.

I am a big fan of ponytails, not just to hang around the house or a quick trip to the supermarket, but if done the right way, a celebrity can get away with it on the red carpet (Hayden Panettiere), and we can use this simple hairstyle to go to work or even attend a wedding. What I like about the curled ponytail is that while it is still a ponytail, a little more effort has gone into it, making it even more exciting. She was in Tokyo for the premiere of her film Golden Compass.

As many of you know pink is my favorite color and I often search for pink lingerie to wear. That is why I was thrilled to see that Avril Lavigne is going with a pink theme. In the same spirit I was excited to see this pair of bra and thong worn by Keeley Hazell. I think it is pink but it is a mature color, rather than what we would be suitable for a little girl. I also like the little yellow ribbon at the back. Does anyone know where it is being sold? I have checked Victoria's Secret, La Perla, and Gigi's Closet but no luck.

I admire Pink a lot and I was very surprised when she actually got married to Carey Hart. I actually was convinced all along that she was not the type of girl who gets married. To me, she was a free-thinker and open-minded.
Looks like some of my doubts at that time were right. In just about two years, the couple has decided to end their marriage. "Pink and Carey Hart have separated. This decision was made by best friends with a huge amount of love and respect for one another," says rep Michele Schweitzer to People, adding, "While the marriage is over, their friendship has never been stronger."

If you watch Fox News you will get the impression that they are the only people who love America and they are the only believers in conservative Christian values. But then if you look close enough, they seem to hire these drop dead gorgeous blondes (like Lauren Jones), who are for some reason also extremely dumb (I am not the type who thinks that all blondes are dumb -- I should know after meeting so many other idiots in all types of skin colors).
One of those bimbos is Courtney Friel (by the way she went on national TV and took out her the silicone pads from her enhancer bra to show that she has small breasts and would love to have an obesity virus attack her so that she can have large breasts).
Before her gig with Fox News, did you know that she actually posed for FHM. Obviously the pictures are no longer on her website and she does not talk about her spread in the men's magazine but here she is in all her glory showing her bod in swimsuit and lingerie.

So you hated the Higher music video by Heidi Montag. Me too. And now you are hoping that that was the last song you ever heard from her.
Hell no. Her manager and boyfriend Spencer Pratt actually wants to torture you by listening to more of her songs. "When people hear what we have in the bank, it's gonna blow their minds. Madonna, eat your heart out. Britney Spears, eat your heart out. I would say we have diamond records coming – they're gonna sell 10-million plus," he said about the plans for more music. They are also including Paul "Coy" Allen to help them with the album.
"We're financing [the album] ourselves on a shoestring budget," Pratt added. "It's so organic. And this is just the warm-up. We're just heating up the water in the bathtub. It's gonna get hot!"
Remember another celebrity who still has not gotten the message that she has no talent: Paris Hilton. Yes, she is cute, but she can't sing (Remember Star Are Blind) or dance or act, but still continues to burn her own money to produce albums and movies that always flop. Oh well!

I am always disappointed to see that so many women have abandoned the scarf -- an accessory that can do wonders to any outfit. I have seen a resurgence in form of a belt (which is great) but when put the right way around the neck, it can enhance any outfit. Belisi makes some very affordable scarves but if you want some high quality ones, I recommend Hermes, Fendi, Gucci, and Valentino. That is why I wanted to show this picture of Elisa Cuthbert wearing a polka dot silk scarf with her plain, gray dress. The contrast makes it look beautiful.

I know that Anna Nicole Smith somehow had this wrong idea that she was like Marilyn Monroe, but in my opinion, no one is like her. Yes, there are a lot of sexy women in Hollywood and many more in the world, but Marilyn's beauty was unique.
So now a very troubled Lindsay Lohan has tried to recreate a photo shoot of Marilyn Monroe (done so well by Ben Stern). I think that Lindsay has her unique beauty, defined by an innocent face and freckles on her skin, but she is no Marilyn. BTW, Marilyn died six weeks after this photo shoot. I wish that Lindsay will stay away from drugs and reckless driving.

More updates on my wonderful friend Miki Ariyama. Her latest single "First Day" is in the Mixed Greens compilation album. This beautiful song is about the immense relationship changes we all go through in our lives. And the song takes a different approach by stating that today is the first day we will not define ourselves by another person or the relationship. The underlined meaning of first day, is learning to love ourselves! Aha, I should do more of that.

And guess who else is associated with Mixed Greens? My another good friend Blanche Spalding, who is the Arizona producer and cover model. Other artists featured are Reali Robinson IV, Chalice Serrano, Whitney Steele, The B.E., Free Rob G, Shahidah Omar, Nick Kolanis, Rachel Lynn, Jeff Senour & CTS, Jumbo Smooth, Edword, Aball Muse, Unpredictable R.E.D, Mege (The Gallery), and Dual Eyed Mic.

She is one talented musician (and my favorite continues to be Avril Lavigne Lil Mama Girlfriend music video) but she is also a style icon, taking risks and always improvising by doing things that other Hollywood celebrities are afraid of. So what about her renewed girlie-girl image? She tells Maxim, "The color for this album is pink, so I’ll be playing a pink piano, and there’s a pink drum kit..." Aha, I can see that. Nice pink top there but if you look closely enough, is her white skirt sheer that shows off her black panties? Leelee Sobieski and Heather Graham have something to learn from her.

It gets a little tiring following all the sports year round and so it is always a "warm" surprise to receive the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition. And I am so happy to see Marissa Miller on the cover. But should I call this a one-piece bikini? After all the top is not there.

I remember the case in which Scarlett Johansson, who has fairly large breasts, was shocked to see her digitally enhanced bust line on a poster for "Lost in Translation." So it should be no surprise that the smart people at Warner Brothers who noticed Kate Hudson's small breasts decided to increase her cup size using PhotoShop, as you can see in this poster for the movie. But what were they thinking? I don't think women will go to watch this movie based on the bra size of Kate and men either like small breasts, or if they don't, they don't like padded bras or dirty tricks to make something look bigger when it is not.
And Kate seems to agree with me. She tell Sun, "On the poster they look perfect, they look great." She added that they either used another woman's torso and put her head on it or used some digital tricks to make them look larger.

When I saw Heather Graham in a sheer top, I was convinced once again that you can wear something sheer and still not look slutty. If you look at this pic, notice carefully that she is wearing what looks like a tank top underneath the dress, though like Teri Hatcher her panties are visible -- maybe eye candy for the men but a fashion no-no.

At the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York, Heather Graham showed up wearing this completely seethrough black top with a denim mini-skirt. Now let me tell you that it is not easy to wear a sheer dress in public though sheer lingerie in private is fine. My advice is that you always wear a bra that provides full coverage and act confident rather than be too conscious.

Haylie Duff, the sister of more popular Hilary Duff, definitely has a better sense of style. While leaving the Katsuya Restaurant in Los Angeles, she definitely looked chic in these black fishnets.

When I first learned that John Mayer was dating Jessica Simpson, I started to wonder if he had gone crazy, because who in his right mind will date a crazy woman like her.
Thankfully, the realization dawned on him rather quickly and before any permanent damage could be done to his brain, he moved on.
Now is he going crazy again wearing the same thong on the beach that Borat wore? Probably not. It is now common for men to wear thongs on the beach (less so in the United States, though) and I think John looks pretty cute.

I first got to know Dawna Lee Heising when she became Ms US World and since then I have been in touch with her. Along with Joycelyne Lew, she has been going ahead including winning the title for 2008, and of course, hosting the Eye On Entertainment television program. She is a classic example of why it is impossible to stop a beautiful and talented woman from going ahead.
