As you all know Republican presidential candidate Senator John McCain has a weakness for hot, young women. He left his wife for his current wife Cindy McCain who was much younger than him (and wealthier) than his ex-wife (talk about mid life crisis). Then came news of his budding romance with Vicki Iseman, a lobbyist who was too close to him.

Many people believe that his choice of Alaska Governor Sarah Palin as a vice presidential candidate was driven by his weakness for much younger women. Now we have yet another situation that he may have had an affair with Amy Lumet (daughter of film-maker Sidney Lumet).

By all accounts Ms. Lumet is a loser (when you are wealthy, they call you a socialite) since she has never had a real job but has worked here and there either as a model or as a writer (jobs desired by rich girls), but these jobs came mostly out of her family connections. She apparently wanted to model for Playboy but despite her large breasts she did not get the job.

It appears that the affair occurred while her husband P.J. O'Rourke (God in Republican circles) was in the Middle East during the Gulf War. Like Sarah Palin's extramarital affair, the details are obviously very sketchy at this point, but I will be watching.
