How to look like Sarah Palin?
By 2beadmin on Oct 22, 2008 | In Fashion

While you may or not agree with Republican vice presidential candidate Alaska Governor Sarah Palin on policy issues, one thing that most people agree on is that she is attractive.
What I want to emphasize is that looking like Sarah Palin costs a lot of money. According to some information leaking out from the campaign, she has shopped at luxury stores like Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, Barneys New York, Bloomingdales, and Atelier. Obviously she is not a hockey mom and that is why real hockey moms hate her since she lives a luxurious lifestyle that most women only see in movies.
The total expenditure adds up to approximately $150,000. This includes as much as $400 per day on makeup alone paid to celebrity make-up artist Amy Strozzi, who was nominated for an Emmy Award for her work as head of makeup team on "So You Think You Can Dance."
The outfits have not only been provided to her but also to her husband Todd Palin and children. Take a look at the picture of her child with a Louis Vuitton bag.

Like a Hollywood celebrity (and unlike most politicians and business executives), Gov. Palin has been noticed to be almost always impeccably dressed, sometimes changing jackets, high heels and hairstyles twice or three times a day. Her excellent style has sparked a craze among her fans and many of them have been buying her preferred Kazuo Kawasaki 704 Duo eyeglasses and Naughty Monkey heels (also a favorite of Paris Hilton).
Fashion experts have also noted that to keep looking fresh at all times despite her busy schedule, Governor Palin has been wearing particularly heavy blush. To further enhance her appeal she has worked Priscilla Shanks, a voice coach.

Obviously, she is not alone in spending obscene amounts of money on looks. Senator John McCain uses American Idol makeup artist Tifanie White and pays her thousands of dollars. His wife Cindy McCain is also one of the most well dressed women and reportedly spent over $300,000 on her outfit.
Sarah Palin affair

For reasons that do not make sense, Americans tend to revere their presidents and politicians. They expect them to be perfect when they themselves are not.
American marriages end up half the time in divorce and almost three out of four people are bedding someone that is not their spouse or partner.
The Republicans, the so-called values party with a huge base of evangelical Christians, do talk more about virgins at the time of wedding and no pregnant teens but in reality they are as bad as the always criticized "liberals."
And that is why it is ironical that they are so excited about Alaska Governor Sarah Palin. She is not only in favor of abstinence only message but opposes abortion in all cases, and is therefore, raising a teenager daughter who is now going to be mom herself. And of course, apart from having all the corruption qualities that politicians have (particularly those in Alaska) she is married to an alcoholic husband whom she married when he had already impregnanted her. They also did not have your traditional church wedding because they eloped -- not the most Christian thing to do.
That is why it is not shocking that Governor Palin also had an extramarital affair (accusations have also been made against Senator John McCain for having an affair with Vicki Iseman, a lobbyist, and of course, with his current wife Cindy McCain whom he dated while still married, to his previous wife), according to National Enquirer magazine. I think the only good news in all of this is that the Republicans are now realizing how hollow their platform is and how it makes sense to simply embrace the reality of life.
Cindy McCain $300,000 outfit

Not many people realize how rich Cindy and John McCain are. No wonder the "poor" guy does not even know how many homes he has. Like President George Bush, presidential candidates are almost always very wealthy people. In fact, if they weren't, they would go nowhere (see what happens to poor guys like Dennis Kucinich).
Unfortunately people are so stupid that they actually believe that George Bush or Al Gore or Barack Obama or Mitt Romney or John Kerry are the type of guys that they would like to have beer with. The sad reality is that unless they are campaigning, an average American will never be able to even visit the same restaurants or clubs or vacation spots that these people go to.
So while Senator John McCain pretends to be like every other American, look at the gorgeous outfit that his filthy rich wife Cindy McCain wore at the convention. How much did it cost? Over $300,000, according to estimates by Vanity Fair fashion experts. While Sen. McCain may claim that only Hollywood celebrities supporting Senator Barack Obama wear designer dresses on the red carpet, his wife might have beaten all the elites, though.
