When will Katy Perry grow up?
By 2beadmin on Sep 18, 2008 | In Fashion

You know many men might like young girls and many couples may even engage in a little role-play with their spouse once in a while to spice up their love life so that a woman can dress up as a schoolgirl, but it does not mean that you don't grow up.
So why is Katy Perry trying to compete with Miley Cyrus?
For God's sake, Miley is like 15 and Katy is a full 24 years old. These clothes might look fine for a Halloween party but I can't wait to see when she can dress up like a grownup. If these outfits were not so provocative, they would look much more appropriate for a Disney theme party.
Kate Middleton style

So why am I blogging about Kate Middleton? The same reason I blogged about Carla Bruni. They may be players in the world of politics/government/royalty but they are just too pretty and need to be counted as celebs. They both have also been included as two of the world's best dressed people. I do love her jacket which is simple, elegant, and has a very sharp cut. I also admire her choice of headgear and a pretty scarf. Perfect for a royalty.
Disney Kids Choice award

What is wrong with this picture? At first glance, absolutely nothing. We have a group of beautiful girls wearing braless low cut dresses, that show a lot of cleavage of perky breasts but the dresses are also cut in creative ways to reveal a lot of skin and the hemlines in most cases are too high to show maximum amount of leg possible. I am also impressed with those pretty sandals.
What is really wrong with this pic is that these are the so-called Disney stars attending a Kids Award ceremony. Considering how Disney underwear ads are displayed, this is pretty meek. No surprise then that we are putting so much pressure on our tweens and teens to look like adults.
Carla Bruni style

I am generally not interested in politicians unless they also happen to have celebrity qualities. Barack Obama definitely meets that criteria and so does Carla Bruni who intrigued me as a polyamorous woman.
I think we can all learn something from Carla Bruni who also has a sense of style that is unique. She has that classic style that is timeless (as you can see she can look awesome even without heels, which she does not use any more because she is taller than husband Nicolas Sarkozy). I hope that Americans elect Barack Obama as the president so that we can have the pleasure of having Michelle Obama, our strongest competitor to Bruni, as the first lady.
Anna Korunikova style

When I think of Anna Kournikova, my first reaction is that she is a world-class tennis player. What I forget is that she is also a very stylish woman who is now known as much for her sport as a style icon.
I love this look because it is all white, and perfect for spring and summer. I also want you to notice the sharp lines and the curve-hugging cut. I think my takeaway from this is that you can dress like a businesswoman but still look cute. I must agree that that skin-tight skirt is not for every girl, particularly those of us who are not in the best shape or have a large butt, you can choose something that is not so tight.
