One wedding that I wouldn't be writing about is that of Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubrey. Not that she is opposed to marriage - she was married twice - she just doesn't want to marry for the third time. Even though Halle Berry is the mother of Gabriel Aubrey's child, she tells Oprah she is not going through the ritual of a wedding.

"What Gabriel and I have decided is we will just redefine marriage for ourselves. You know, that paper isn't worth anything to me anymore," she said on television. "I don't want to do that again ... I feel more married in a way than I ever have in two marriages before."

"We view life the same way," says Berry. "He really understands the spiritual connection is so much more important than the paper and the pomp and the circumstance and the ceremony. And that feels important to us." That is exactly what Oprah has done and I recently heard Eva Mendes say the same. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are also believers of this idea.

I must admire Donald Trump. While his casino Taj Mahal is in financial trouble, he has definitely built personal wealth for himself and his family. Plus, whenever his wife gets old, he simply marries a younger chick. Now he has Melania Trump.

So is it any surprise that his daughter is trying to do the same? First the dad put her in The Apprentice show and now she is also trying to model. Her career has also been dogged by rumors of breast augmentation. Let me see how she survives in the world of modeling.

Alright, alright, you will tell me that Janice Dickinson is such a good looking woman and looks younger for her looks because of all the plastic surgery she has had even earning the name plastic doll.

I think no couple should have to go through what Usher and Tameka Foster had to go through: cancellation of a dream wedding because of objections from family members. When two grownups want to get married, even parents should simply keep their mouths shut. That message somehow did not get through to Usher's mother who spoiled a happy moment.

The couple had an uneventful civil ceremony but eventually had a proper wedding at the Chateau Elan Winery & Resort, a 3,500 acres property outside Atlanta. Some of the Hollywood celebrities in attendance included Jermaine Dupri and Janet Jackson, Mariah Carey, Jay-Z, Nelly, Ashanti and Anita Baker. Apparently guests are still talking about the wedding cake from the same company that did the cake for the wedding of Tony Parker and Eva Longoria.

Heath Ledger has called Michelle Williams "the perfect mom" (to Matilda). Jake Gyllenhaal and Anne Hathaway, who saw the couple fall in love on the sets of Brokeback Mountain, claim that they had instant chemistry and sparks flew right away.

It is all over now. The couple has decided to split and it seems that there is no hope of reconciliation. I wonder if it was because of their tight schedules.
