Banana flambe recipe
The healthy version

Banana flambe is
not only an excellent
healthy
dessert, we also eat it as an afternoon snack. It is easy
to cook and if you hold off on the sugar (banana is already
quite sweet), it is very healthy.
What will you need?
- 4 teaspoons sugar
- 2 teaspoons organic butter
- 2 bananas
- 2 tablespoons brandy/tequila

Melt the sugar in
a large saucepan, add the butter and sliced banana. Cook for
about 5 minutes.
Remove from
the heat and add the alcohol. Depending on how hot it is,
either right away, or once you put it back on the stove, the
alcohol will burn when you ignite a match (be careful) and the
banana should flambe.
You can
serve it as shown or add a few strawberries on the side, if
you wish.
