Not
that Red Garlic is too fancy. Yes, it is one of those
white tablecloth places but nothing that would make you
broke. In fact, we only paid less than $25 for lunch for
two people without the drinks.
Red Garlic is
not a seafood restaurant as the name might lead you to
believe. I was surprised to see the menu that it did not
feature as many seafood dishes as one would expect in a
seafood restaurant. That is not a problem with me since
I am a big fan of chicken and that is what I ate. Green
curry with chicken and vegetables. Yes, it did have one
of those chili symbols in front of the name and I am generally
OK with hot food. To my pleasant surprise, the amount of
chili was just right for me. Hot, but not too hot.
My companion tried the chicken and cashew nut
dish and she was equally impressed.

The service is
remarkable and the ambiance, while not out of this world, is
good enough to bring your date for a meal, even dinner.
I would even recommend that unless you are entertaining very
senior level business contacts, it is also a great place to
entertain clients. Recommended
