Macrolane review
Is it worth it for breast augmentation?
|
Summary: Macrolane filler
can be used to reshape and enlarge the breasts after
pregnancy, nursing or weight loss in case you do not
want to have cosmetic surgery. |
|
|
As
everyone knows, right now instead of
going
under the knife, the trend is to have a
minimally-invasive treatment that is accomplished
with the help of a
dermal filler.
Unfortunately, the best way to
get larger breasts is to put
implants but now surgeons are performing a basic
form of the
breast
augmentation procedure using an
injectable filler called Macrolane. Unlike the
breast
implants that provide near perfect shape and size,
expect only one cup size improvement.
Like other such
injectables, Macrolane is also made from
Hyaluronic acid. Expect to spend about $4,000 and
like the
Botox boob job the results are not permanent,
though, in this case, you will need to return about a
year and
a half to two years later.
At this time there are no known side effects since
Hyaluronic acid is already used in many other
fillers
on the market. In many ways it is similar to
fat
grafting in the breasts. So is it
worth it?
Only if you want to avoid cosmetic
surgery at all costs. One treatment costs as much
as a pair of
breast
implants and results last only for 18 months or so. |
