Is Sarah Palin a hockey mom?
Or soccer mom for that matter for the rest of the us in the Mainland United States. I know some hockey moms already hate Sarah Palin for being phony, but some recent data says that by no measure is she a typical mother.
First of all, she is the governor of a state, which itself is a big deal and makes her hold a very powerful job with a huge staff and access to resources that vast majority of us cannot even dream of.
Secondly, she has combined income of nearly a quarter-million dollars. The average family income is just about $45,000.
Palin family owns a private plane, two boats, two personal watercrafts and a half-million-dollar, custom-built home on a lake.
The family also has a 401(k) retirement account.
In summary, she is like a wealthy politician and it is a shame that she wants to pretend that she is just a regular American.
