Pecan pie
I must confess that I am not a dessert person (therein lies my secret of being so slim) but for parties and festivities I do like to have home-made desserts. About 10 years ago, I took a trip to New Orleans and discovered how delicious pecan pie could be and since then using a simple recipe from a book, I have been making it. Believe it or not, it turns out great all the time and everyone loves it.
