writes, "I got some new
pants this
summer
and they are very comfy. I don't care if they are
out of fashion or not an
attractive color. I just bought them for the comfy
fit. I went to school and I was mocked and sneered at by
fellow classmates because it was so wide and so out of
date style. They asked me where I got and they snickered
and left me feeling down. I don't wear them anymore for
the reason someone will attack me. I wear them at home
and they fit like a charm but don't BRING some charm.
What do I do?"
Comfort versus style
I like to think that we should
do what we like because if we live our lives
according to others, there is no way you can
make everyone happy. I mean, would you jump off a
cliff if others were to tell you so? Some
women like pink, others hate it. Some
girls like long hair, others prefer short or
somewhere in between. So I think that maybe you want to
improve your style by studying
stylish women that look somewhat like you but in the
end make it your own and pay no attention to what others
think.
Having said that, not all
clothes
suit all women and from time to time we have to
sacrifice comfort for style. There are
occasions when you should be comfortable (e.g.
at home,
while sleeping, in the
gym, etc.) and others when you want to
look sharp even if you are not so comfortable. |
