I
am one of those people who believe that the no-VPL (visible
panty line) myth has been created by the same
lingerie companies who first created
panties and then want you to buy all kinds of
paraphernalia to eliminate VPL.
There are several reasons why I think that we make a big
deal out of what I think is a non-issue.
- Most people have better things to
do than to investigate if you are
wearing panties.
- We almost always assume that
women are wearing their underwear, and if there
is some evidence of it or its absence, no one cares
or is impressed.
- Except for some very rare cases,
pantylines are not easily visible.
- In a world in which
whaletail (letting your
underwear show above your jeans) is a mainstream
fashion statement and is now widely accepted, VPL
has become irrelevant.
So does the Shibue Couture strapless
gstring is a solution looking for a problem? Like
the
backless lingerie, at least that is what I think.
Do you really want to wear self-adhesive panties for
what is already a dying problem (VPL) and
thongs do a great job. The only
situations where I I think it makes sense is when you
are one of these really modest woman and do not want to
expose your privates at a
spa
or on the
beach or a
tanning salon. |
