Your beauty
has truly smitten me. The
beauty I speak of though is not your
outward beauty because you have chosen to keep that
somewhat hidden, but your
inner beauty - your heart. It's refreshing to see
someone so willing to open up her heart and soul to
other people.
I admire your ability to
connect emotionally and maintain
meaningful relationships with so many people. It
seems to me that it would take an awful lot of energy -
both emotional and intellectual. That is amazing to me.
My
fascination with Japan stems from having lived there
for 8 years and visiting off and on for 4 more years
while in college. Now I can't get enough of
all things Japan.
I regret having wasted the time that I had in
Japan and hope to travel back there and live
someday.
That is my dream, to
live and completely
immerse myself in the culture. I'm striving to
nurture my
love for
Japan by having as much
contact with Japan as I can. I strive to have some
sort of
meaningful contact with Japan everyday.

The Internet has been an
excellent tool for accomplishing that. But I
want to experience the
real Japan, not the
stereotypical view of Japan that is
presented in the West. It saddens me when I
encounter those stereotypes during conversations
with my friends and co-workers. I do my best to
correct their
perceptions of Japan based on my experience
there and what I've learned through my research
of the "REAL" Japan. |
