Cow with African artCow painted in bold colors
Date: 01/16/2008
This statue was part of the Boston Cow Parade, an exhibition that lasted throughout the summer. As you can see, this cow was full or rich and bright colors. I think I saw it in Newbury Street. Click on the icon below to see full size.

If you have enjoyed a beer at the Cheers Bar in Boston, you can take a look at all the beautiful brownstones houses in Back Bay, one of the toniest neighborhoods in the city. It also has some really fancy restaurants with gourmet food and tiny shops for buying gifts. Click on the icon below to see full size.

Swan boat in Boston CommonTake a leisurely ride
Date: 01/16/2008
Compared to the Central Park in New York City, Boston Common is tiny. However, apart from its Duck Tours, a Swan Boat tour is worthwhile just in case you are tired or have kids with you. Click on the icon below to see full size.
Cow with flowersBoston Cow parade
Date: 01/16/2008
I found that this cow was somewhat more "cow looking" than others in the Cow Parade because it has so little art in it -- but I guess that was the idea. What you should definitely notice is her earrings shaped like the Eiffel Tower.

A girl studying in Boston CommonCan you really concentrate?
Date: 01/16/2008
During summer the weather in Boston is so good that it would be sin to stay indoors. And considering that the city has so many universities, students head outdoors to study, though with so many opportunities for people watching, I am not sure if you can get much work done. And I am also convinced that she chose the spot carefully because she was wearing a bikini and knew that people were photographing her.

The Newbury Street area in Boston is now primarily a shopping and dining spot. There are several boutiques and that is why it is full of tourists, particularly in spring and summer. But it is also a place to live. Most of the higher floors are actually used as residences. Click on the icon below to see full size.

To the best of my knowledge, this cow does not have much painting but I don't know if some kind of reflective paint qualifies. It was almost like mirror-work, though excellent. Click on the icon below to see full size.
