Buy in bulk to save money and the planet
Buying in bulk is a very green choice. It is not only green actually, but it also makes financial sense. It is cheaper and it saves time. The only time when this is not convenient is when space is a problem.
If you buy in bulk, try to develop a good inventory system so you know what you have and do not run out. My inventory system is simple. When we grab the last bag of toilet paper which has 6 rolls we put it on the shopping list for the following week. Same applies to everything else.
If you buy fluids (shower gel, detergents, etc.), choose concentrated products that you can mix with water. This way there is a saving in transportation and packaging that should be also passed on to you in price.
