I took this picture of these cute fruit tarts in Little Tokyo in Los Angeles.  It was a nice bakery with a lot of Japanese breads and inspired Japanese breads.

I love how they decorated these tarts creating dogs out of whip cream and ornaments with fruits.  The trend toward cute decorations for food is growing and going beyond Asia.

Little Tokyo itself was a little disappointing, it looks nothing Japan not even a bad place in Japan. Kinokuniya en LA was overly disappointing, it was messy and it just look like a cheap shop.  But Little Tokyo has a couple of good restaurants and I had two good meals while in LA in this place.  I will tell you more about my trip in another post.
