This look reminds me of Kate Moss.  It is a very simple look, but polish and modern, a more glam alternative to other casual looks.   I like the fashion and style of Japan, of course not everybody dresses well there, but most people try hard specially in Tokyo.  A simple tee with skinny jeans worn with knee high boots.  And as the temperatures fall, it is always a good idea to protect your ears with a cap/hat.  An oversized handbag comes very handy to store what you are not wearing.  Boots are very commun in Japan even in summer when it is hot and humid.
