One of the first things that I realized when watching this film was how fat Kathleen Turner has now become and what a sexy woman she was before. And obviously, who are as young as I am, might be pleased to see a younger version of how Michael Douglas looked, though he still looks awesome and his much younger wife Catherine Zeta Jones has never complained about him.
Romancing The Stone is the story of a romance novelist who leads a loveless life in New York city and does not even get out of her Manhattan apartment much but has an adventure of a lifetime waiting for her when she flies to Cartagena in Columbia to hand over a map of a hidden treasure to kidnappers of her sister. As can be expected in a country full of drug dealers and criminals, she was not prepared for anything, but survives.
Not to be taken very seriously but definitely a fun movie to watch.
