In 1992, I received a scholarship from Daiwa Bank to attend the MBA program at the International University of Japan, and thus began a lifelong fascination with Japan, resulting in MyNippon, a website where I see the world through a Japanese perspective. I taught myself Japanese language and was able to work in Tokyo for Sealed Air and dedicated myself to learning as much as I could about business, society, culture, and people.
While France has always fascinated me, during last few years, I have realized that the drive that pushed me to Japan is back and this time it is for France. I was surprised because marriage to a Spanish woman has not motivated me to navigate Spain or Latin America with the same level of passion I feel for France.
I have been to France only twice and speak no more than a few words but I am hoping to share whatever I can as I embark on this quest.
